Yup, I kinda suck at this, but remember when I used to be good. No? Well, check out some of my older posts. Who knows, maybe one day I'll return to my glory and start bringing you some of the best random crap around like before, but doubtful.
Anyway, just want to say one more thing: GO CELTICS!!!
Messing up your scenery, breakin' my mind, do this do that, just read my blog.
Ok, so I haven't done a good job of writing in this thing since I came out of "retirement" but it's 3 in the morning, I'm pissed and whatever, so here it is.
Ok, so, why am I pissed, well, the Bruins lost a game that I was at btw, and are on the brink of losing the series to the Capitals, as a 2 seed, on a BS PP goal, which Thomas should have saved, but they shouldn't have been a man down. Plus my computer is messed up and keeps beeping for some reason.
Jaleel White is hosting some random show on Syfy, apparently they just turn the lights out on people, that sounds terrrrrrrrible.
Ok, so I learned tonight that Charlie Day aka Charlie Kelly from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is actually married to "The Waitress" from the same show, who he is always after and wants nothing to do with him. I didn't realize that, seems like some sort of ironic joke that I was unaware of, oh well, I've had my issues with waitresses in the past, but anyway if real Charlie can get fake Charlie's dream girl, maybe there is still hope for me, but probably not.
Other instances of this when people are actually dating people that they in tv shows together or whatever, if you are familiar with the show Psych on USA, the lead actor in that is dating one of the detectives in the show, they are actually dating in real like too. But the most strangest is probably Dexter where in real life he was married to his "sister" on the show, but then they broke up, but now in the show his "sister" is in love with him. That's got to be some weird vibe on set for those shoots.
Hey, the Red Sox are terrible, just want to let that be known.
Ok, I know this was short, but it was sweet, hence the saying "Short but sweet"
But as always a little treat, which I realize is kinda ripping off the Daily Show and the moment of zen, but whatever, somebody call my momma.
Don't call my Dad thought, his name is Tyrone, so you know what that means.......
Ok, he's a cool dude, his name really is Tyrone though.
Well, well, well. I thought it was over. I was gone, I was sipping on Arnold Palmers wearing white pants and talking about golf down in Florida. I was there, no job, nothing to do, no blogging, no nothing. I was retired, from blogging, from the game, from work. I was done...... and then it all flipped in one day, First of all, I got a new job, back where I used to be at Sun Life and it was much like this:
Now, I'm in a new department, so when people ask me what I'm doing there, much like Joe Pesci in Casino I had to tell them "I'm over here now" So, I started back up there this past Monday, which was somewhat appropriate seeing as how the night before Wrestlemania was held at Sun Life Stadium and The Rock returned to work as he beat John Cena in the Main Event. But wait, there is more, because after a long day at work, I watched as this man returned:
Yup, that's right, Brock Lesnar is back, which means he is out or retirement, so, well, I guess that means I have to come out of retirement. So, this is my official announcement that I'm going to be returning to the Blog, not really sure how it's gonna work or what I'll write about or anything like that, but feel like I have to come back. This also means that I'm back in the game, and while I'm not really sure exactly at this point how that is really different then when I was retired, but I guess it is, so whatever, let it be know
Hopefully coming out of retirement works out well, cause in the past, there have probably been more examples of failure then success, but I'm giving it a shot.
And as always, gonna leave you with a little treat:
Oh yeah, Ron Burgundy is back too, guess it's just the cool thing to do now.
Well, it's been a year since I first started this blog, and while I certainly did a very good job keeping up with it at first, things kinda fell off, partly cause I ran out of things to write about, partly cause I got bored with it, as did the people that were reading it, and partly just cause of general whatever. Yeah, that's a lot of parts, whatever, it all adds up in the end. I did try and make a comeback in November after not posting since August, but it just didn't work out. So, now what? Do I attempt another comeback, I guess I could, but ultimately I feel like the same thing will happen. Maybe I should change up the format and focus on one specific topic, but I feel like I'll just get bored with that. So, what should I do? I think I know, and I've already done it once this year already. Allow me to explain.
Friday night, Brock Lesnar fought Alistair Overeem @ UFC 141. Well, things didn't go so great for Brock and he lost, and after the match he decided it was time to hang them up and retired. So, the next night, New Year's Eve, I decided to take a page out of his book, and stated that if I lost that night, I was retiring. Well, things went as well for me as they did for Brock, so I am retired. Now, you maybe asking yourself, retired from what exactly? Well, not work, at least not yet, but I will not have a job soon, but unfortunately I don't think I can afford to retire from that yet. No, my friends, I retired from The Game, what game, you know what game. After so many defeats, I just had to say, you know what, I don't have it, time to retire, I'm not gonna kid myself like so many in the past have. So, anyway, following that, I feel as though it's time to also retire from the Blog. So, while this may not be as shocking as other retirements in the past, like Magic Johnson (well, I also don't have HIV either, but not the point):
Or, Michael Jordan's first retirement:
Hell, even Edge's retirement last year was much more shocking then either of mine:
But still, it's time, so what else is there left to say other than:
