Took in the Soundgarden show at the Comcast Center on Sunday night. I had never seen them before, given that they broke up 14 years ago and I didn't really start going to concerts until about 13 years ago, so just missed them. But they are back together and they sounded damn good. Played a good set, pretty much played all their hits, with the exceptions of Pretty Noose, kinda a surprise and their new song Black Rain, which was an outtake to begin with, so probably not their first pick of a song to play anyway. I guess Bleed Together and Rhinosaur were semi hits that they didn't play either. They actually only played Blow Up The Outside World and Burden In My Hand from Down On The Upside, they mostly played stuff off of Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, which was fine with me, actually, here's the setlist:
So then, last night, would have been cool to get to go and see what could have been CM Punk's last night on RAW at the Garden, granted storyline wise, it "could" have been John Cena's last night as well, but as even CM Punk joked around, that's not happened, especially after he already got "fired" last November and was back a week later. Anyway, didn't end up going, so just had to watch on TV and I was flipping back and forth between that and the Home Run Derby, which was looking promising for Adrian Gonzalez, who for some reason was trending on twitter as Adrian Gonzales? did he change his name at some point, did I miss something. Anyway, while CM Punk and Vince McMahon may actually have been having some serious negotiations, they had some "Negotiations" on RAW last night, and if you didn't see it, check it out:
Pretty good stuff, but the one thing that probably sticks out is the reaction the Ice Cream Bars got, now if you have no idea what he was talking about, well man, you missed out. Back in the late 80s and early 90s, the WWF, as it was know at the time had these awesome Ice Cream Bars, you could get them pretty much anywhere, all the Ice Cream Trucks had them, you could get them at the Stores, they were everywhere, then somewhere along the line, they became a lot harder to find, until they eventually they stopped making them all together. What they were were a big cookie on the front that had a Chocolate imprint of a Wrestler, then there was Vanilla Ice Cream in the middle and the back was a Chocolate shell, it tasted awesome and it also came with a Wrestling Trading card. Well, if you can't picture it, here's what it looked like:
Still don't remember, well maybe Brutus The Barber Beefcake can help you out:

Ok, anyway, getting back to CM Punk, this Sunday should be interesting, it seems like that he really is leaving, unless something has changed recently, so, I don't see anyway that he ends up winning unless something did, but we could be heading to some kinda of Montreal Screwjob type thing, although, it's certainly a different situation, so I wouldn't except any legit screwjob to happen, but this is the first time in a long time that I don't think many people know exactly what is gonna happen in that match. Anyway it should be interesting. Kinda upset I didn't get to go to RAW, apparently they'll be back in Boston for another RAW on Monday, November 14th. So, maybe I'll go to that maybe not, who knows.
One last thing, so far my selling out is not panning out to great, only got 2 clicks on the ads, which somehow by some weird equation equals to $0.31, so if you want to help me out, so that I don't starve, just click the ad, come on, do it.
